Hello everyone! Kaja here. I'm home from the hospital, and officially COVID free. I had the test! The horrible one where they stick swabs way down into both nostrils. Apparently what I've got is a really ferocious (and completely undeserved, I might add), infection which was giving me high fevers alternating with uncontrollable bouts of clenched muscle shaking, accompanied by huge amounts of migraine and back pain. So, yeah. That was fun. I've been pumped full of antibiotics, narcotics, and anti-nausea meds, and they are slowly doing their job. The doctor said it would take a couple days before I feel better. I was actually able to manage a shower just now, and only started to black out at the very end. Improvement! Also, now I don't stink. Lord, I was stinky. Thank you so much for your concern, everyone. I really appreciate hearing about all your good wishes. I'm wearing out again now, so I'm going to post this a couple of places and then close my eyes for a few minutes. I'll be back with the story soon, I'm so sorry for the delay! It wasn't even this bad back when I had surgery, I still got the page posted from the hospital, but this just wasn't the same, I could barely send texts, and sitting up wasn't happening.

Since there are four decks for The Works - Castle Wulfenbach, Master Payne's Circus, Castle heterodyne, and Siege of Mechanicsburg - I tried sorting out the drawings. IF - that is IF - these are draws for the cards in the game, they are woefully short for Castle Wulfenbach and non- existent for the Circus. Of course, that is, IF, again IF, these are drawings for the cards, the Foglio's are making an effort to keep them in context of the deck, AND they plan to show us most or all of what Phil has drawn, then we have easily another week (possibly two) of these before story.

A point made elsewhere - this delay in story could be affecting Cheyenne Wight. According to the Works kickstarter, he is not coloring the cards. He is paid by the page, so I hope he has other work going for him right now.

I hope, as usual for GG, I am flat wrong and we get story on Monday.
